When veins around the rectum or anus get enlarged or swollen due to excessive pressure on the area, they are referred to as hamoridens. The major symptoms of hamoridens are anal or rectal ache, bleeding and itching. People, who suffer from this problem, know well how frustrating and painful it could be to live with hamoridens. Here are few ways to treat hamoriden:
- Exercises-You need to do certain exercises as a treatment for your hamoridens. Here are some:
- Crawl for 10 minutes twice daily. 200 meters of crawling would suffice the purpose and your hamoridens would vanish in no time.
- Lie down flat on your back and with crossed legs and clamp with all strength. This will contract your anus. Hold for 5 minutes at a time and then relax. Do this thrice daily for about 15 minutes.
- Lie down on your back and try to consciously inhale and exhale air. Pump up your belly while inhaling and lift the anus up while exhaling. Practice this twice daily for 15 minutes.
- Alter your diet-Low fiber diet is a major cause of the problem. If you consume a diet rich in fibers and drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, you will not have to strain while moving bowels. This will cure the problem. Therefore include lots of raw fruits and vegetables in diet.
- Creams-You can use various over the counter hamoriden creams to treat the problem. Zenmed Ziro, Venapro are the examples
- Herbal treatment-Your hamoriden can be treated through potent herbs like Aloe Vera, Witch hazel and tea tree oil
- Warm bath-Soak the affected region in warm water for about 10 minutes. This will lessen pain as well as the size of the hamoriden.
